Every time I try to change the SQL Server 2008 service account in the SQL Server Configuration Manager I get the following error:

The specified network password is not correct. [0x80070056]

OK
---------------------------
I am using a domain account and know the password is correct. I am, however, able to change the account using services.msc and the server starts up just fine.
please advise
