SQL Server installation

    I have been tasked to install SQL Server 2012 Enterprise and Business Intelligence version of sql servers in a windows server 2012 Enterprise. I am also requested to document the installation.

    Could you all refer me to some documentation methods and how to document the steps taken during the installation?

    The documentation is requested to help any DBA to troubleshoot or use as a guidance for future installations.

    It is also worth looking at SQL FineBuild. This helps you produce standardised and repeatable installations of SQL Server, which can aid in your documentation process.
