We have an application, which is configured to run under service account. It connects to database using service account.
The application is using windows authentication. Anyone from particular security group will be having access.
Is it possible to know which user has done transactions? As of now, its logged as service account is doing all the operations.
I was told that we could do this by tweaking Kerberos setting.
I'm totally new to it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

So you would need to setup the application for trusted authentication and have Kerberos set up so that the connecting user is being passed through to the database in order to do it.
