  • Is this the same issue as in your previous thread? Try to keep it to one thread if you can.

    Please post the whole error message.

  • Hi Sir,

    Please Find the Below Error message

  • Two questions;

    1) is there anything in the error log?

    2) Does the Service Account have permission to write to the destination folder?

    Hi Sir,

    Please Find the Below Error message

    Message

    Executed as user: MERIX-PC\SYSTEM. The step failed.

    Looks like your SQL Agent service is not using a domain account, but the local system account. The account that the SQL agent job uses needs to have permissions to write to the destination where the backups are shipped to.

  • Hi Sir,

    Here the SQL Server Agents are running under LocalSystem Service account only,

    Where should i check whether the permissions are there or not for that particular service account,

    Note:

    Here My system Primary Server is running under the account as NT Authority\LocalService and Secondary Server is running under the account as Localsystem Account,Is there any issue in that.

    There was no Error in error Log

    Please give me some suggestions for that

  • Normally I'd say do this;

    The place you want to copy the log backups to; right-click on the folder > Properties > Security and see if the Service Account has permissions there. If not, grant it permissions.

    HOWEVER it looks as though you are using an account that is local to your machine so that won't work; you need to use an account with domain privileges for this or you won't be able to set up log-shipping to another machine or server.

    Do you have a Windows sysadmin there who can help you?

  • Thnak U So Much Sir....
