Hi All
We had SQL server 2000 installed at our office 13 years ago and it has been running without a problem all these years. Suddenly today I can't connect to the database. I tried going in the back way via linking tables and I get a connection failed error: SQLState 28000, error 18456, Login failed.
I went into Enterprise Manager and I can access all of the tables from there, and I was able to manually backup the data, but even the machine containing SQL server cannot connect to it any other way, even though Admin Tools in the control panel.
I am a SQL Server noob, so I don't really know what I am doing here. I searched for answers but none of the questions apply to my situation.
I am stuck here and no idea who I could call to come in. Any help would be appreciated.
