Using Profiler to obtain SQL executed by an encrypted Stored procedure

  • Hi Everyone,

Is it possible to use SQL Server Profiler to viewthe SQL that is being run by an encrypted Stored Procedure?

If not does any one have any ideas how I could do this?

    Regards

    David

  • why don't you just decrypt the stored procedure instead?

The user account that originally encrypted the Stored procedure no longer exists. Therefore do I need a 3rd party tool to decrypted the stored procedure?
