Permissions to create and execute SSIS Packages?

  • We are running SQL Server 2012 SP1 64-Bit EE on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. What is the correct amount (least amount) of permissions to assign developers who want to create and execute SSIS Packages? They will be using Visual Studio from their desktop. I have read the following "A user must be a member of the db_ssisadmin, db_ssisltduser, or db_ssisoperator role to have read access to the package. A user must be a member of the db_ssisadmin role to have write access."

What is the least amount of permissions that can be assigned for a user to create and execute packages?

    Thanks, Kevin

  • Does anyone have any suggestions to this post.
