Submitting Jobs in SQL Agent that contain DQS Cleansing Component Tasks

  • We have developed SSIS projects that use the DQS Cleansing component. We have been able to submit jobs in SQL Agent in our development environment where the SQL Agent and the DQS Knowledge Base are on the same server and where the job is using the same connections as are used in the SSDT development environment. But, we are now moving into our production environment. We can only deploy the SSIS projects and set up jobs in SQL Agent, we cannot manipulate the projects on the production server. Part of setting up a SQL Agent job is configuring the connections to point the job to the production version of the DQS Knowledge Base. While I know the server name is where the DQS Knowledge Base exists, I do not know what the connection string is for the Knowledge Base. The SQL Agent connection manager configuration screen only allows us to put in a connection string and a server name.

We are using SQL Server 2012, SP2 on a Windows 2008r2 OS.

Can anybody tell me what the connection string is for a DQS Knowledge Base?
