If this has been covered before, I didn't catch it in my search criteria so hopefully the answer is simple.
When querying the Dyanmic Management Views, what's the difference between an instance_name of default vs internal?
Specifically, when looking at CPU usage % for an instance, do I need to add default and internal to come up with a true CPU usage %?
Currently I'm capturing CPU Usage %:internal and dividing it by CPU usage % base:internal to come up with instance-level CPU utilization. On some servers though, when watching through either Task Manager or vCenter I see CPU utilization that doesn't get captured by my queries on dm_os_performance_counters.
