what name i have to give

    Thans in advance..

  • Hi,

On 2008 R2, when you put the MSDTC resource in the same cluster group as your SQL Server instance, it will (should) do the mapping automatically.

  • Thanks for reply,

Here have configured MSDTCs in Spearate group.

So i need to map them to specified instance.

Is it possible to move the Msdtc to slg group from Msdtc group?

and what are the steps for it.

which way is good to follow

    1)mapping to specifed instance

    or

    2)moving to sql group

    Kindly suggest me...

    Advance thanks

  • I would remove that other group and then add the MSDTC to the SQL cluster group.
