he wants to transffer 9Lakh records from SQL database to Excel 2007

The package runs well & so the data about 5Lakhs from tables are getting transffered to Excle file but after 5 Lakh the below error comes, also find the attached error file.

[SSIS.Pipeline] Warning: Warning: Could not open global shared memory to communicate with performance DLL; data flow performance countes are not available. To resolve, run this package as an administrator, or on the system's console.

  • That's not the error, it's a warning. That's a warning that's very common and usually not the cause of any real problem.

The errors are the exclamation mark symbols further down the screenshot.

Looks like it could be an out of memory error. Is it just a straight export from a table into a file, or are you doing lookups/transformations/other things within the data flow? 64/32 bit?

  • Its just a straight export from a Table to excel file..

    it's on 64bit

  • If it's a one-off export, try exporting to a csv file instead, then you can re-save as an Excel if required. You're pretty close to the limits of an excel file anyway and the excel driver can be pretty temperamental ...

  • I asked him to download 6 lakh data.... still the package fails after transferring 5 lakh:w00t:
