I have set up MDW and UCP - can someone clarify if the 'collection_set_5_noncached_collect_and_upload' SQL job is acually related to a Data Collection Set or is it related to UCP 'sysutility_mi_collect*' SQL jobs?

AFAIK it's related to UCP.

Does anyone then know of a way to point different Data Collector sets at different mdw databases. For example I want the UCP data to go to the default sysutility_mdw database (as this name can't be changed) but the MDW database go to a database called for e.g. UMDW. However, when I set MDW up it changes the database name at the top level of the Data Collector area so that all Data Collector underneath this now point to the one database i.e you cannot have MDW pointing to database UMDW and UCP pointing to database sysutility_mdw.change as opposed to each set to pointing to a different database. Am I missing something or is this by design?

It seems to be really hard to remove it from SS 2012. The only clean solution could be to remove it and reenable it having then the possibility to choose the database name.
