Difference bewteen Entity.InstanceSelection and Attribute.Value Selection in report model

  Hi,

  Can any one explain me what is the different between InstanceSelection on entity and Value selection on attribute.

  If i select drop down or list from value selection it is reflecting on filter tab in report builder query designer. but for InstanceSelection i didnt see any where change ?
