Need Help on SSIS ..Urgent Task

  • Hi Koen,

    SSIS TASK Help:

Good day. I am new to SQL. I have a task to do. Hope you can help me on this. I need to retrieve the data from five different databases and split them into matched and unmatched records based on one column (amount column). All databases have one or more unique columns(all have amount column).

And I have another question for you. I have a customer table in a database with Million records apporx. And amount in another database table. I need to split the amount equally to all the customers in customer database.

    Thank you,

    Kind Regards,

    KK

I'm not exactly sure what your question is.

What have you tried, and where are you getting stuck?

  • It sounds to me like you have a business definition for a workflow, and you need to turn it into a technical specification, then work out an implementation path.

Judging by what little data you have provided, you may be better off hiring a contractor for this, than trying to do it in-house. A lot of that will depend on what kind of timeline you're looking at for project completion.
