Deploy SQLS Database to a Produtiv-System

    Hi,

    is there a guide or checklist for deploy SQL Server databases (2008/R2) after development and testing to a productiv/live platform? What are the requirements and permissions it needs, so the topic Deployment, Support, Database update not turn into a nightmare.

    => What should I consider (Compare, Synchronice, Server Roles, Database Roles) so that a DBAdmin can live with that ..... 🙂

    I have to deploy (Database with Tables, Views, StoredProc., Functions)

    Permissions roles etc will all depend on how you want to lock down access to the databases, only you know what the applications are doing to the database so only you can really decide what rights to give to users.

    The main thing I would say if setup a backup routine for the newly created database(s) as that will be critical.
