Replicated table does not show words with accent

  • I have a database with transactional replication, more or less 15 days replicated table does not recognize stress, obs. the collation remains Latin_General_850_CI_AS in the publisher table he recognizes words with accents.

Can anyone help me with this item.

    Thank you,

  • What do you mean by "recognizes accents"? "Recognizes" is an ambiguous non-technical term that does not tell us what is really going on.

Describe to use what commands/actions you are doing and what results you are receiving that are leading you to this conclusion.

  • Sorry, but my English is bad, the result of the selection of the published table:

força na disputa por participação de mercado. A  aérea

Result of the selection of the subscription table:

    for+a na disputa por participa+Æo de mercado. A ÿa'rea

This started happening 15 days collations are the same publisher and subscription, replication is smooth and synchronized, and I have no idea what they might be.

  • First, use Management Studio to generate a script of both the published table and the subscription table. Make sure that you have the "Include Collation" scripting option turned on (its in Tools..Options.., SqlServer Object Explorer+Scripting). Post those scripts here, indicating which columns are showing this problem.

  • After thinking about it some, I suspect that this is probably a codepage problem...
