WTF, Can we have some people with hair. I mean just cause Steve Jones is bald do we have to assume bald DBA's are exceptional? As DBA with hair, albeit grey hair and not alot of it, still I feel like a victim. I am going to call my congressman and demand a government hand-out immediately.

Hard choice to make with such good people. It shows the quality of the community to have this group nominated. But from the conversations I have had with others here there are many other just as talented folks onboard.

Only one said this:

That did it for me. While the others said they were singing their praises, stroking their egos, or just felt they flat out deserved it. As someone once said "The proud man counts his newspaper clippings, while the humble man counts his blessings." Truth be told, there are MANY great DBA's out there that help you get to where you get, and the humble man recognizes that. Show me an Exceptional DBA and I will show you many more DBA's behind the scenes that helped him get there. Being exceptional in anything isn't a sole accomplishment....:-D
