  • Are you talking about sending an SMS to a phone (Shor tMessage Service)

    or talking bout sending an email in general, where a smart phone picks up mail like a normail email client ?

    here's threee threads i participated in a couple years ago on the details that might help:

    http://www.sqlservercentral.com/search/?q=cellnumber@txt.att.net

    or you can search "SMS from SQL Server";

    there are companies that provide access to send through their networks (textPlus?) as well as others, but they charge a nominal fee, i believe.

    witht hat service you could easily set up a CLR to send your text messages.

  • i want sent sms to mobile..

  • but i checked with vodafone address.. its not working ...

  • I have database mail working for sending emails to email addresses within the company domain. However, the notifications sent to email addresses outside the company domain (my personal email and cell phone) are not working. The database mail log shows an error message twice which are related to the personal and cell phone emails. The error is “The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 4 (2009-05-19T10:30:14). Exception Message: Cannot send mails to mail server. (Unable to send to a recipient.)” Hour Exchange administrator that SMTP Receiver Connectors and Relay Restrictions...

    Please any one help me

  • You should contact to your exchange administrator in this case. It seems as some security (permissions) issue.
