Side by Side in Cluster ..Creating new resource group

  • Hi all

    I new to SQL Server Cluster,I have a Windows 2003 SP2 with SQL Server 2000 SP4.

    now I have to add new SQL Server 2008R2 instance to excisting cluster.I prepared document.

    1. Upgrading shared componets in both nodes (start from Passive node)

    a.Upgrade shared components in passive node (Node 2)

    b.restart passive node 2

    c.Do the fail-over (Node 1 to node 2)

    d. Upgrade other node 1

    E. restart the upgraded node 1.

    2.Start the installation again from Passive node

    1.I have to new create Resource group and I have to add the drives to the gorup

    2.and then moving the drives passive node( by using fail-over).

    3.then start SQL Server 2008 r2 installation

    my question is

    how to create new resouce group ?

    How adding the drives ?

    How to start instllation in passive nodes?

    Can some body help with steps if possible...
