Hi All,
I am using Sql server 2000. I am not able to see Enterprise manager through:
start=>program=>Microsoft Sql Server
I have created a shortcut on desktop, through mmc console.
But I want enterprise manager to be viewed in program list.
Please suggest as this is a production server.

click start, and when programs button is visible, right click on it;
"Open" is the first choice, click that.
a folder opens, drill down inside the Programs folder to where you want Enterprise Manager to appear, and drag a copy of your desktop shortcut to that spot (right click the icon...drag..when you let go...select copy shortcut)

To add to what Lowell has mentioned, copy that shortcut to the below folder. Since you don't have "Microsoft SQL Server" folder create it manually before copying the shortcut. This ensures that the Enterprise Manager shortcut is visible to all the users logging on to the server.
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Microsoft SQL Server

simply right click inside the Programs folder you opened and click New...folder
rename it to "Microsoft SQL Server"
then put your shortcuts in side that.
while you are there, you probably want to put a shortcut to Query Analyzer in there too.

Thanks you so much Lowell and Pradeep.
I used 1st suggestion by Lowell and Pradeep refined it. Now by applying both of the solutions, i got enterprise manager in my program list.
Thanks a ton for helping me out with so fast response.
