SQL Compare Red Gate

  • Hello,
    Does SQL Compare by Red-Gate  can show me if the syntax of Stored Procedure at one instance is different from same Stored Procedure on different instance?
    Or it just compare if it exist on each instance?

    Yes it shows syntax differences also for procs, functions, views etc

    As mentioned by Anthony, it shows differences at a granular level in a very clear way. If you can, I suggest you download and install it – you'll be able to run in trial mode for a few days to test it out.

    If you haven't even tried to resolve your issue, please don't expect the hard-working volunteers here to waste their time providing links to answers which you could easily have found yourself.

  • SQL Compare will produce the CREATE syntax for both objects and then give you the differences as most Version Control Systems do. Here is a view of two different procs in two databases from SQL Compare:
